Vickie Cleveland

VICKIE ESTHER CLEVELAND was born on July 27, 1952 in Cleveland OH. She was the fifth oldest of six children born to Virgil E. Cleveland Sr. and Hazel Marion Cleveland.
Vickie was educated in the Cleveland Public School district. Vickie spent 10 years working at Case Western Reserve University Food Services and 25 years at Marriott from where she retired.
Vickie Cleveland was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend to many. Vickie was full of life, laughter and love and loved to party. Vickie would give the shirt off her back to anyone. She loved to talk and whatever she had on her mind she said; and whatever she said she meant. Vickie was a true momma bear. She did not play about her daughters; “everyone knew not to mess with Vickie kids!”
Vickie departed this world on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. Vickie was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Hazel Cleveland; siblings: Rodman (Judy), Ralph (Laverne) and Sandra Buckner (Leon) and granddaughter Victoria Cleveland.
Vickie leaves to cherish her memories her fiancé, Derrick Winston and her children: Mildred Lanier (Kareem), Lawanda, Justine Birkett (Maurice), Kimberly, and Latoya; Siblings, Catherine Savoy and Virgil Cleveland Jr.; grandchildren: LaTasha McDonald (Ameiko), Jewan, Vincella, Steven, Destini, Cierra, Naisha, Vyonci, Chelsea, Kareem II, Derrico, Joshua, Kimora, Madisyn, Messiah, and Kamille; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.
