Talmadge D. Lynch

Talmadge DeWitt Lynch’s suffering and pain came to an end at his home on December 31, 2021. His loving wife Beatrice was holding his hand, and his sister Mary Charlotte, step daughter Ava, and niece Teressa were all by his side.

Talmadge was born in Gurdon, Arkansas on June 7, 1942 to the late Talmadge DeWitt and Josephine Nolan Lynch, the second of four siblings.

Talmadge graduated from Thomas Edison High School in Cleveland, Ohio.

He enlisted in the Army with a rank of Private 2, a rifle caliber M-1 marksman. Talmadge later joined the National Guard and Army Reserve. He married Oralee Duncan Lynch, unto this union, two sons were born. They later divorced but remained friends.

He worked for Laub Baking Company and Wonder Bread Baking Company as a Driver Salesman until he retired.

He loved the game of golf and competing in tournaments around the country. He found joy playing golf with NFL Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers players.

Talmadge wed Beatrice Boyd Lynch in 1968 and they remained happily married for 53 years.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, son (Eric Lynch), step-son (Tyrone Boyd) and nephew (Marvin DeWitt Nolan).

Talmadge was a family man who wanted nothing but the best for his loved ones. To cherish his memory he leaves his loving wife Beatrice; children Ricky Lynch (Theresa), Ava Dean-El, & Terence R. Boyd; sister Mary Charlotte Nolan; nieces Christine Nolan & Teressa Turner; nephew Deshun Nolan; eight (8) grandchildren China Thomas, Shantaya Thomas, Concetta Thomas, Ishmael Dean-El, Yazmine Dean-El, Christine T. McAlpin, Destiny Owens, & Gabrielle A. Dean; twenty-one (21) great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, other relatives and many lifelong friends.
