Sylvester Brady was born in Greenville, MS May 27, 1931, to the late Sylvester and Alice Brady. He was the third of three children. He graduated from Coleman High School in 1951. He served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 and served in the Korean War.
He relocated to Cleveland, OH and met Josephine Richey. They were married on December 26, 1956, in Liberty, IN.
Sylvester was employed for over 40 years with Republic / LTV Steel as a Mill Wright.
He enjoyed all types of sports including the Cavaliers, Indians, and Browns. He enjoyed camping . He was a skilled craftsman.
Sylvester was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine, his son, Barry, and sister, Blanche. Sylvester leaves to mourn the following: sons – Alan Brady (Deborah), Colin Brady, Marc Brady (Veronica), Tony Zeigler, daughter – Donnye Brady, sister – Lois Jamison, brother – Louis Charles Brady, Oliver Williams (Robin), Robert White, grandchildren – Ebony Brady, Jacqueline Wilson, Madelaine Derico, Howard Newkirk, Sylvester Alan Brady, Jr, Alyssa Brady, Katelyn Brady, nephews – Robert Richey, Ricardo Jamison, Louis Jamison, Tameka Jamison, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
