Serenity Clopton Hockett

Serenity Bea Clopton-Hockett　 was born August 20, 2020 in Mentor, Ohio to Maurice C. Hockett and Shardey Latrice Joy Clopton.

Little Serenity Bea was and still remains the light of our day and night in the Clopton-Hockett home. She was a gift and a blessing to be with and see her reach every milestone and achieve past that on her way ahead of time despite being premature. Just as proud as her parents are of how far she had come so quickly, Serenity was just as happy and excited to be able to do new things and get on to the next, all in exploration and fun. From sun up to sun down she had all smiles and expressed a joy which made each day impossible to take for granted that left no moment replaced with regret.

In her short time here of seven months she left us with the example in remembering her to live each day fully and take joy in moving forward and embracing the milestones in our lives. It was of thee upmost　 blessing to have her as our daughter and will forever hold a precious special place in our hearts.

Serenity Bea Clopton-Hockett will be deeply missed by her parents, her three siblings, and family.　 May she be just as much a blessing in heaven as she was on earth.
