Sally Mae (Huffman) Smith

Sally Mae Smith was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 18, 1946 to the late Roosevelt Huffman and Marie Mathews.

Sally attended East Technical High School, was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Sally worked at MetroHealth Hospital where she met the late Robert L. Smith, Sr. They were married in 1973. Sally’s career included Little Tikes for nearly 20 years.

Sally was a phenomenal cook everyone loved her famous Macaroni and Cheese. She loved to play Bingo, spend quality time with her grandkids, going to the Casino and traveling to California for vacation to visit her children.

Sally was an extremely outgoing person who never met any strangers, she made us laugh all the time.

Sally went home to be with the Lord on May 27, 2021. She was preceded in death by brothers, Roosevelt Mathews, Nishman Huffman and Ernest Mathews; Sisters, Amberee Harris, Hattie Robinson, Lillian Griffin and Annie Rushing, Sister-in-law Carolyn Huff

Left to treasure and cherish her memory are: Daughters: Maria Mathews, Tara Smith, Monica Smith, Latoya Taylor, Ebonie Morris, Angel Morris; Son: Robert L. Smith Jr; Grandchildren: Chantell, Brittany, Dezmond, Zoey, Brandon, Olivia, Malik, Serenity, Jayvonne, Elizabeth (Lizzy), Terri-lynn, Makayla, Jayden; Two great grandchildren: Leilani and Brandon Jr.

Sisters: Clotill Gaulden (Charles), Carolyn Campbell, Sister-in-laws: Brenda Mathews, Peggy Jones, Arlectar Smith. Brother -in-Laws Edward, Sonny and Lamoyne Smith, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and adorable friends.
