Richard Harris was born to the late Pauline Warren and Booker T Harris
on Mar 15, 1936. He was the older sibling of he and his sisters Betty Jean Smith
and Beatrice Hobson. Preceeded for his homecoming by his wife Dorothy Harris.
Richard attended the Cleveland Public Schools and per his sister excelled as the class
clown. He enjoyed nothing more than torturing his teachers with laughter.
He spent his work years as a Van driver for his church and for the residents of the Marc apartments where he resided.
He was an avid reader and loved reading the Call and Post and Plain Dealer. He
enjoyed his Cleveland sports teams the Cavaliers, Browns and the Indians.
He loved music and dancing, Patti LaBelle and the Temptations being his favorites.
Richard never lost his sense of humor and became one of the favorite residents at the
Nursing facility where he spent his final days.
Richard leaves to mourn his sisters Betty Jean Smith, Beatrice Hobson, nieces, nephews
and other family and friends.
