Pearline Smith, was born February 11, 1927 to Dorsey Taylor and Ellie Turner in Wickliffe, Ohio. She was one of the three children, brothers Edward and Charles born to that union. Her parents and brothers preceded her in death. She led a very fulfilled and rich life.

She met her husband, Willie Smith (deceased), through her brother Charles. During that union, Pearline had two children, Sharon and Gail. Later in life, Pearline met her long-term companion, William Collier (deceased).
Pearline loved to travel, watch her soap operas, and she loved to make people laugh. Everyone who knew her called her, Pearl.
Pearline leaves to carry on her memory her daughter Gail Daughtridge and her daughter- in -love Monica Howard. Also, three grandchildren: Johnny, Andre, and Omari; seven great-grandchildren and host of relatives and friends.
