Michael Jones Obituary

Michael Joseph Jones, a resident of Cleveland, Ohio, and a native of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at his Ohio residence Wednesday, May 24, 2023. He was born on Wednesday, October 26, 1955, to the late Sidney William Jones, Sr and Leona Achord Jones.

In his earlier years, Mike was a tugboat captain on the Mississippi River. He loved to talk to everyone and very seldom met a stranger. He loved his family and especially adored his son, Alex!

Mike is survived by his son, Alex Jones, Cleveland, Ohio. From Ponchatoula, Louisiana, he is survived by his brother Robert (Bobby) Jones, and his sister Dianne Jones Milton (Russell), along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Sidney W. Jones, Jr (PeeWee,) Kenneth W Jones (Skeeter,) and his sister Jennifer Jones (Cookie.)

A cremation was held and services will be held privately by the family
