Louise professed Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church.  She later joined Providence Baptist Church and recommitted her life to Christ where she became active as an usher, Vacation bible school volunteer, bible student, and joined the church bowling league.  She especially enjoyed playing bridge, going out to lunch with friends and exercise with the silver sneakers.

She married Alonzo Jones in 1967 and from this union one child was born.  She leaves to mourn her daughter Tracy Jones, two grandchildren Charles Jones and Alyssa Adams, and one great grand child MaKayla Louise Jones.
