Lillian K. Hill was born to the late Baxter and Lillian Hill on October 12, 1931. She was the youngest girl born to this union.
Lillian accepted Christ at an early age. She received her education through the Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from Central High School in 1951. She was employed by the City of Cleveland as a Vital Statistics Clerk in 1961 and retired after 36 years of service in April 1996.
She joined Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in 1954. She was a faithful servant in the Music Department within the church for many years. Prior to serving at Union Grove, Lillian was a pianist at Damascus Baptist Church, Friendship Baptist Church, Elizabeth Baptist Church and Olivet Institutional Baptist Church to name a few. She had a love for music and children.
At Union Grove, she worked with the Angelic Choir and the Joyful Sounds groups. She also held computer classes for the youth; from ages 7 years to 12th graders.
Lillian leaves to mourn her passing a loving brother, Eugene (Shirley) Hill, Sr.; sister-in-law, Maude Hill of Columbus, OH; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
