Lelia (McCombs) Gamble

Leila Gamble was born in Rome, Georgia on July 12, 1942 to  Fannie and William McCombs. Lelia was a former manager at the Urban League. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church for many years. Leila enjoyed bowling, traveling, dancing, playing cards, gardening, volunteering at South Pointe Hospital and hanging out with her siblings. She was a beloved wife of Joseph, a loving mother of Michael, Joseph, Alex and Keith, a dear grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 8, and a cherished sister of Polly, Gwendolyn, Patricia, Mary, Gloria, Vera(deceased), McCluer, Rodney and Paul. Her memory will be cherished by all who loved her.
