Larry Lee Harris departed this life on October 16, 2020. Larry was born on July 2, 1957 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio to the parents of Shirley Anne Hargrow (his Mother, who preceded him in death) and Father, Lewis E. Harris. Larry married Elaine Harris who he has been married to for 38 years giving birth to three children: Lorenzo Harris, Lamar Harris, Laura Harris and Sean Houston (Mother Sandy).
Larry was a creative and charming person, who truly loved his wife and children. He was an extremely outgoing and loving person who could brighten up anyone’s darkest day with his wit and humor. To know him was to love him.
He enjoyed cooking, singing, dancing, and spending time with his family. He worked as a head line cook at some of Cleveland’s most popular restaurants including; Art’s Seafood, Fish & Grits, Oasis, and the Rib Cage. Larry was so proud to be a grandfather to his grandchildren; Lorenzo Jr., Brea, and Jace who all loved him dearly. Larry was such a joyous person that was always a pleasure to be around. He was notorious for making people laugh and smile simply by being himself. He loved joking around even if that meant making a fool of himself.
There are not enough words to describe how great of a person he was. He was without a doubt one of a kind and meant so much to so many.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory to his children: Sean Houston, Lorenzo Harris, Lamar Harris, and Laura Harris; his brothers Bay Bay and Louis (deceased) and his sister Tracy; grandchildren, Lorenzo Jr., Brea, and Jace; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
