Obituary

Ke’Mel Brandon Jenkins was born November 10th, 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio to Kellie J. Jenkins and Keith B. Lundy.

Ke’Mel accepted Christ at an early age at Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church.  He enjoyed attending church every Sunday morning. 

Ke’Mel attended Cleveland public schools and graduated from Collinwood High School in 2012 with Honors finishing in the top 10 of his graduating class.  On January 10th, 2018 Ke’Mel graduated from the culinary program at Inner City Mission.   Ke’Mel worked for several organizations throughout Cleveland under the Cuyahoga County MRDD program including but not limited to the Vocational Guidance Center, Jennings Nursing Home, Winking Lizard, and  SAW, Inc. 

At an early age Ke’Mel showed off his love of music by dancing nonstop, singing and making beats with anything he could get his hands on.  Ke’Mel had a bright smile and a laugh that could fill a room.  As everybody knows Ke’Mel never met a stranger.  You can always count on Ke’Mel to be the life of the party.

On Monday November 22nd, 2021 Ke’Mel passed away unexpectedly.  He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Clarence and Hattie Talbert and uncle John Lundy.  He leaves to mourn his passing his mother, Kellie Jenkins, brother Ace’Shone Mason, sister Deasia Hall, grandmother Janice Jenkins, grandfather William G. Jenkins, grandmother Geraldine Lundy, uncle William J. Jenkins,  great aunt Gloria Anderson, great uncle Reginald Talbert, aunts Clarissa McBee and Stephanie Lundy, uncle Jermaine McBee,  the Talbert family, the McBee family, the Mattis family and 2 father figures.  Also mourning his loss are his best friends Joseph Eberhardt, Damon Jefferson, Ervin Johnson, Regina Hayward and Ravaughn Thornton and a host of other relatives and friends.
