Katrina Renee Vernon, 56, of Cleveland OH, departed this life Sunday August 22, 2021. Born February 18th in Washington DC, preceded in death by her loving parents Hester and Geronimo Vernon. She is survived by her sister, Theresa Vernon, adoring nieces Brittany and Taylor, devoted Aunts Helen, Theresa, Rostene, Ronnie, Ruth, Alice and her Uncle Victor Archie. She leaves behind a host of other cousins, relatives and friends. She reserved a special place in her heart for her favorite cousin Dax Vernon.
Katrina graduated from East Technical HS, Class of 1983, and enjoyed a dedicated 20+ year career in hospitality at The Marriott Hotels.
Her infectious laugh and vibrant personality will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Private memorial services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
