Judith Caren Burroughs was born October 10, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the youngest of two daughters born to Geraldine and William Burroughs.
Judi as she was often called, attended John Adams High School (where she played violin in the orchestra), and Bennett College in North Carolina. She worked for IMB many years before transferring to their litigation department in San Francisco. She then moved with that company to Raleigh, North Carolina. Eventually she returned to Cleveland, finishing out her working career.
She was very creative and excelled in sewing which she spent many hours teaching her nieces sewing techniques. She enjoyed making wall hanging, beadwork, cooking, yardwork and many other forms of media. Her passion was for give gifts she created for special occasions. They were eagerly anticipated by family and friends.
Judi's outgoing, bubbly, enthusiastic personality was accentuated by a bright and magnificent smile which she shared with family, friends and new acquaintances without reservation.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister Patricia Ross (Curtis Sr.), two nephews (Curtis Ross Jr. (Hank Johnson), Jason Ross (LaToya) nieces (Jayla and Jazmin).
She also leaves to fondly remember her, a host of relatives, friends, and acquaintances.
