Our beloved Josephine Hart was called home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2023. Josephine was born on September 24, 1946, in Jeffersonville, Georgia to the late Alphonso and Annie Hart. She attended the Highsville public school.
Josephine, who was known to many as “Phine” was a strong and vibrant woman. Accepting Christ at an early age, baptized at Higgsville Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, Georgia. In the early 1960s, Josephine relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. Phine enjoyed Spending time with her family, cooking, dancing, laughing, and Traveling. She was also a basketball fan her favorite player was Lebron James. As she would say YOU GO BOY, CAN’T TOUCH THIS!
Anyone who had the pleasure to know and spend time with Phine would most likely have a pleasurable memory. Phine doors and heart were always open with a smile allowing you to feel welcome and leave loved.
Phine will be missed by many and a legacy and years of memories will be cherished by her devoted children - daughter Venetta Hart, son Marrio Hart Sr.; grandchildren-A’myra Hart, Violet Hart, DevontA Hart and Marrio Hart Jr. Great grandchildren “Her little helpers” - A’mlya Hart, Alecia Hart, Giavanna Hart, Ahmad Hart, and Amir Hart Morgan; best friend and sister - Fannie (Anthony) Paci and older brother Melton Hart; Nephews - Steve Paci, Antuan Paci, Wayne Hart, Christopher Hart, John Hart, Kelly (Debra) Hart and Eldred Burnette; Nieces - Paula Hart, Patricia (Leroy) Simmons, Jacqueline Hill, Marilyn (Harold) Marcus, Annie M. Redd, Gloria Hart, Lera Hart, Brenda Stephens, Ruby Stephens, Juanita Hart, and Veronica Burnette and many great nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends. She will truly be missed and never forgotten.
