Jewell Lee (Johnson) Painter

Jewell Lee Painter was born in Alliance, Ohio to Ella and Robert Johnson on April 6, 1941. Jewell was a retired educator with the Shaker Heights Board of Education. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, traveling, dancing and spending time with family. Jewel was a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Top Ladies of Distinction and Daughters of the King. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church for over 60 years. Jewel was a devoted wife of Harry, a beloved mother of Frederick (Lori), Christopher and David (Melissa), a loving grandmother of Christopher, Oliver, Graham, Carter, Grant and Elle, and a dear goddaughter of Archie Williams. Her memory will be cherished by all who loved her.
