Jacqueline Elaine Gillon, age 65 of East Cleveland, passed away from cancer complications on August 24th, 2021.
She was the daughter of the late George and Alberta Gillon and the sister of late Jeffrey Edward Gillon. She leaves behind her sister Sharon Gillon Simmons (husband Dayton) and brother Sidney Gillon (wife Angela) as well as nephew Jason Simmons and nieces Jasmine Hayes (husband Gregory) and Cydney Davidson-Bey (husband Arlando). She also leaves behind great nephew Alexander Gillon Davidson-Bey and Great Niece Ava Jean Hayes.
Jacqueline was a cherished member of the community and displayed passion and devotion to people and the environment around them. Jacqueline was involved in multiple groups such as The Western Reserve Land Conservancy, Black Environmental Leaders, Crain’s 2020 Women of Note and many more.
Jacqueline was loved by all and will be greatly missed. The impact she made on the world will never be forgotten. The memorial service will be available in person, via radio (within a mile of Elizabeth Baptist Church), as well as the EBC Facebook and YouTube Channel.
The Memorial Service will be held at Elizabeth Baptist Church 6114 Francis Ave, Cleveland, OH 44127 on Saturday September 4th, 2021 at 10:30am by Pastor Richard Gibson.
