George Johnson Obituary

George Cedric Johnson, a gentleman who enjoyed people and known to have never met a stranger, departed this life peacefully, on Monday October 30, 2023.

He leaves to celebrate his homegoing, his loving sons Duane (Nicole) and Jordan Sims. Daughter Felicia Ross-Officer. Loving sisters Wallis Wade (Alex, George's best friend of over 57 years), Karen Johnson, Marcella (Jesse) Harris, Brother Alan (Eve) of Alton, IL. Very special granddaughters, Adrienne, Jillian, Jordan, Ava and Elie. Mother-in-law Kathryn Webster, Aunt Rose Ford. Many extended family members, hosts of nieces, nephews, cousins and many devoted friends.
