Fred E. Scott, Jr. was born to the late Fred Scott, Sr. and Christine Scott on July 29, 1943, in Cleveland, OH. Fred received his formal education at Choctaw County Training School in Lisman, AL.
Along with his scholastic studies, he also played the piano and sung in a band. In addition to his musical talent, he was also an excellent football player.
Fred was employed in the manufacturing field for many years and retired from Harbison Walker International in Windham, OH. In leisure he loved fishing, music, especially jazz and spending time with his friends.
Fred is preceded in death by his mother, Christine Scott, father, Fred Scott, Sr., and sister Mary Harper.
His memories will live on through his children, Bronnice Jones (Griffen) and Angela Slade of Montgomery, AL, Felicia Scott-Houston of Woodland Hills, CA. Maurice Scott (Ayeshia) of Atlanta, GA. Also, his memories will be cherished by his bonus children, Marilynn Lemons-Madison of Houston, TX and Anthony (JJ) Jones of Warren, OH. Grandchildren: Franchesca Slade, Brandon Slade, Nia Scott, Niles Scott, and Zion Houston. Great grandchildren: Jakyle Sims, Jaiden Lewis and Brayden Slade. Siblings: Gayle Hale, Jeannie Martin, Gloria Sturkey (Hermus) of Cleveland, OH, Diane Williams (Rayford) of Birmingham, AL, Lucius Scott (Betsy) of Charlotte, NC, Donsha Scott of St. Peterburg, FL, Darlene Scott of Cleveland, OH. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. Special caring and loving niece Jacquelyn Kirby.
