Franklin "Buzz" E. Jones

Franklin E. Jones affectionally called “Buzz” was born June 3, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio to Ernest Jones, Jr. and Mary Jones.   Buzz was the eldest of three children born of this union. The Lord called him home on September 12, 2022.

While growing up, he obtained his early education through the Cleveland Public Schools, graduating from South High School. From there, he attended Ohio University.

Buzz would later serve honorably in the United States Air Force as an Avionics Communications Specialist.  While in the service in Hampton Virginia, he met and married Alfredia Jean Beverly.  To this union were born Travis, Christopher and Chelsea.

After leaving the military, he returned to Cleveland and worked as an Electronics and Computer Technician.

Buzz loved life, lived it to the fullest, and was a joy to be around.  He was always joking and saying things to make those in his company laugh and smile. We will all miss his daily jokes on Facebook and wonder what we will do now that he is no longer with us.

Buzz will continue to live in the hearts and minds of his family and friends.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Ernest Jones, Jr (Sherry) and Mary Jones, sisters Allison Jones Woods, Kim Coleman (Tom), Robin Caldwell, brother Charles D. Jones (Laketta), sons, Travis, Christopher (Salote), daughter, Chelsea, three grandsons, Theodore, Andre and Benjamin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends near and far.
