Elizabeth Gail (Bailey) Parrish

Elizabeth Gail Parrish, 66, passed away peacefully at her home in Cleveland, OH June 7, 2022.  Born November 28, 1955, in Cabell, WV.  The first born of Donald Bailey (deceased) and Anna Chambers.  Gail grew up in Huntington, WV and later moved to Cleveland, OH.  Gail was preceded in death by her younger brother Donald Bailey Jr.

Gail assisted in the care of her mother, whom she is survived by, Anna Chambers, widow of Richard Chambers.  She is also survived by her two sons Nelson (Rocky) Cowger and Brian Parrish.  9 grandchildren:  Nelson, Brandon, Kobe, Elizabeth Cowger and Lindsey, Ariella, Lilly, Jonathan and Anastasia Parrish.   2 great grandchildren:  Aubriella and Dio’r.  Siblings Robert (Grace), Michael (Lisa), Kevin, Kenneth Chambers and Debora Haberman (Ronald).  Aunt to Matthew Chambers and great aunt to Elijah Chambers.  She is also survived by her Aunt Mary Marcum, who was more like a sister, mom Shirley Bailey and best friend from childhood Carletta Jamison, whom she spoke of with much fondness.

Gail had a kind heart and would go out of her way to help anyone.  It was evident that spending time with her two sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren gave her the most joy.   During retirement she looked forward to going to Daytona Beach Florida in October each year with her mother Anna and Aunt Mary.  Gail also got much enjoyment from flowers.                                                                                                                                                                                    

Graveside service with Interment at Lake View Cemetery 12316 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH 44106.  Friends and family should meet Saturday June 18, 2022, at the Euclid Avenue entrance to Lake View Cemetery by 10:30 am.  Celebration of life to be announced.
