Darron Stephon Lowery, 58, transitioned November 24, 2023. Darron began his life on July 29, 1965 in Baltimore, MD, born to James Edward Lowery Jr. and Mary T. Lowery. The family moved to Cleveland, OH in 1972. In 1975, he professed his love for the Lord and was baptized in Cleveland Heights.
After Darron graduated from Warrensville Heights High in 1983, he joined the Army Reserves. He attended Akron University with a focus on Criminal Justice. He attended Hamrick Truck Driving School where he obtained his CDL to become a professional truck driver. He also attended Horizons Academy and became an IT Network Analyst. Darron loved life and continually followed his dreams and passions.
Darron met Freda Harkness-Nevins and had two beautiful sons Remy Joseph and Martell Dante Lowery. Darron and Sheila wed July 5th 1997 and spent 26 beautiful years together. Through this union they had two lovely daughters, Ariel Jaire and Aleia Noel. He bonded with his children through gaming, art, music, and a love of God and life.
Throughout his life, Darron had a passion for technology. He loved gaming and was known throughout Northeast Ohio as a “Gaming Master”. He loved all sports, especially basketball. Darron had a love for anime, Marvel and DC comics/movies, reading, cooking, dancing, music, and building computers.
In addition to his partner Sheila Lowery and his children, Darron is survived by his father James Edward Lowery Jr. and mother Mary T. Lowery; brothers: James (Skip) E. Lowery III and Jonathan (Michael) Lowery; grandchildren: E’Lonzae Dante Lowery, MarZeek Martell Lowery, Remy Joseph Lowery Jr., A’layah Jhene Lowery, and Charley Lowery. He was preceded in passing by his sister Tamie Canady (Tony Canady). Through the will of God, he positively impacted the lives of his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, and a host of family and friends.
