Charlie Boy spent his younger years in McRoberts, Kentucky. After his mother’s passing, he moved to Barbersville.

Everyone knew Charlie loved Cars, Sports, Western Movies and Jazz music. Early on he was an avid bowler. He spent a lifetime being a Collector. He collected Coins, Stamps, Model Cars and Historically Significant Sports Memorabilia. He served as the Vice President of The Cleveland Chapter of The Eastern Kentucky Social Club. Although he no longer resided in Kentucky, his love for his home state and all of his many Kentucky friends were some of his most unforgettable memories.

Charlie took great joy in watching his grandsons grow up playing sports and video games. His love for his family showed on his face when he would hear someone call out,” Daddy, Papa, Dad, Or Chief.
