Catherine (Dukes) Roberts

Catherine Dukes received her wings peacefully and found her path to glory on November 3, 2022, at the blessed age of 86.
Catherine was born the only child in Tuskegee Alabama on March 23, 1936, to John and Ethelrene Dukes who has preceded in death.
Catherine moved from Tuskegee Alabama to Cleveland, Ohio where she attended public school and acquired a high school diploma. She eventually united in marriage to Perry F. Roberts sr. (preceded in death). She made a life as a military wife with Perry Roberts Sr. traveling and living around the world for 15 beautiful years. In their union are three boys, Perry, Darren and Christopher Roberts.
Catherine then settled and made her home in Cleveland, Ohio with lifelong partner James Gamble (preceded in death) and her children where they lived happily until Catherine retired. A dedicated mom who loved her boys enjoyed traveling, cooking and giving words of wisdom. This didn’t slow Catherine down after losing her eyesight she affiliated with the Cleveland Eyesight Center where she learned braille. Catherine continued to broaden her horizons and would try new things despite being blind. Catherine favorite music was the blues and often enjoyed listening to music if she wasn’t talking to the Lord.
Catherine leaves to cherish Perry, Darren and Christopher Roberts. 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and a host of friends
