Anna Louise Patmon was born on March 9,1933 in Waterproof, Louisiana. She was the youngest daughter of the late George Wiley Sr. and Nancy Wilkins.
Anna was the type of woman who was an inspiration to all that met her and a great friend.
Before moving to Cleveland, she became Ms. Louisiana and Ms. Freshman while attending Grambling College. After moving, she worked diligently for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years until retiring.
She was a loving person who will be forever in our minds and always in our hearts.
Anna departed this life on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at University Hospital. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Patmon; her mother and father; nine sisters and three brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, John Patmon Jr. and Brian Patmon; two daughters, Vickie Patmon and April Ballard; beloved grandchildren: Kashina Hurley of Dayton, OH, Leroy Jr. and Da’Mon Ballard (Teyonia), Samantha Bernard (Justin) of Pepper Pike, OH, and Daphney Bonner; seven loving great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
