Angelo Maurice Duncan was born on May 19, 1966 to Frank Robert Barclay (deceased) and Deborah Ann Duncan-Barclay (deceased), in Cleveland, Ohio. As a child, he regularly attended church and was baptized at Mt. Herman Baptist Church. He attended Cleveland Public Schools and graduated from East Technical High School in 1984.
Angelo participated in youth programs and began working at 13 building and installing storm windows for the weatherization program at Friendly Inn Settlement House. He later worked for Cuyahoga County where he was a Maintenance Supervisor. Years later he decided to relocated to the Atlanta, GA area where he pursued his dream of remodeling houses, apartment buildings and other types of properties full time. His gift and talent gave him the name “Blessed Hands”. He was eager to show his amazing work to everyone that garnered his attention, resulting in 100% satisfaction every time.
Angelo was all about family. He was a protector and provider. He loved being a father and grandfather. Anyone who knew him knew that he had a phone full of pictures to show off his precious “babies”. He was willing go above and beyond to be a proud Daddy and Granddaddy. He was also a huge supporter in the extracurricular activities of the other youth in the family by showing up to basketball and football games, as well as graduations and other special occasions. He was and advent pool and chess player and he was very artistic.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace II and Ruby Duncan and granddaughter, Mirrah Townsend.
On January 20, 2023, he leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Tyesha Townsend and Alexa Duncan; grandchildren, Miyera, Mychal, Khloe, and Genesis; siblings, Derek (Carline), Michelle (Paul), Veronica (James), Frank (Sheila), and Kim; aunts, Roselyn and Bernadine; uncles, Horace III and Stanley; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
