Vivian Lamar Dickson, 89, of Cleveland, OH, passed peacefully on August 2, 2018.
She was the devoted wife of Edward D. Dickson with whom she shared over 70 years of marriage.
Born in Cleveland, OH she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Bernice Eanes. She had two siblings Venerine Branham and the late Andrew Eanes, Jr.
Vivian attended Cleveland Public Schools. She was a dedicated employee of Alcan Aluminum and White Motors, but importantly she always maintained her church membership.
Vivian thoroughly enjoyed laughing, Chinese checkers, shopping, fashion, and cooking, but her favorite endeavor was spending time with her family and sharing any new accomplishments of her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandsons. She was a truly devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother with a tender heart and soul that was admired by those who knew her.
Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her only daughter, Dr. Karen Jackson, her sister, her two granddaughters and their husbands, two great-grandsons, and other relatives.
"A bird does not sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song".
