Frederick Richard Nance

Frederick R. Nance, Sr., age 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2017. He graduated from Collinwood High School and attended Western Reserve College. He was an International Representative of the United Auto Workers/General Motors Corp. and a loyal member of the Alpha Omega Chapter-Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., the United Auto Workers, and Antioch Baptist Church. Beloved husband of the late Betty Jean Anderson Nance and brother of the late Charles and Kenneth Nance, Marie Peterson and Helen Brooks. Proud father of Sharon Nance (Carolyn Agrifoglio), Teresa Nance (Kermit Moore), Frederick Nance, Jr. (Jacqueline), Marc Nance (Jennifer), Marcelle Nance (Douglas Knight) and Christopher Nance (Jessica Colombi). Dear grandfather of Carl Agrifoglio, Christian and Jesse Moore, Natalia and Brian Nance, Nicole and Joshua Nance, Robert Knight, Melanie and Frederick Nance, III and loved by many other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Sunday, October 1st, 1:30 - 3:30 pm at the E. F. Boyd & Son Funeral Home, 2165 E. 89th St. Family Visitation Monday, October 2nd, 10 am at Antioch Baptist Church, 8869 Cedar Ave., Kappa Burial Service 10:30 AM immediately followed by Memorial Service at 11 AM.
