Went home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2017. Beloved mother of Samuel Jr., Michael K.( deceased), and Frederick (deceased); cherished sister of Vesta J. Carlock, Dorothy L. Fort, Cheryl Bernard, Walter Holmes, Jr.( deceased), and Robert T. Holmes (deceased); with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Family will receive friends Monday, October 2, 2017 10:00am at Cathedral Church of God in Christ 2940 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive followed by Celebration of Life 10:45am.
