Ronald Edward Lawson Sr. was born on January 11, 1945 to Virginia and Napoleon Lawson in Cleveland, Ohio. Ronald enjoyed bowling, playing softball, fishing, and telling stories. He was a member of the Excelsior Masonic Lodge, the Elks and Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Ronald was a beloved father of Julia (Brian) Gates and Ronald (Marlene) Lawson Jr., a loving grandfather of Ceasor, Ashley, Ronald III "Tree", Arielle and Donovan, and a dear great grandfather of Liam. His memory will be cherished by all who loved him.
