Pamela Marie Swails

Pam was born on October 26, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Robert John Slaughter, Jr. and Carolyn Anne Jones (Slaughter).

Pamela Marie Swails, lovingly known as Pam by family and friends, was an advisor to hundreds, a mentor to many, and a dear friend to all.  Pam received her wings on November 11, 2019.

Pam was everything to everyone! She loved entertaining family and friends, dancing, music, and everything about the holidays. But most of all Pam loved Mikie, Keith, and her favorite niece Karalyn.

Pam was a graduate of Glenville High School, class of 1972.  After graduation she landed a position at the Cleveland Clinic as a Medical Billing Specialist.  Pam retired from the Cleveland Clinic with accolades after 42 years of service.

Pam accepted Christ at an early age.  She always put GOD first and second to none was FAMILY!

Pam will forever be remembered for the special way that she made it known to all that everyone is welcome and there are no strangers.

On any given day, from sunrise to sunset, Pam could be found sitting at her kitchen table looking out the window knowing that family is near and dear and somebody “bout” to pull up.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents Robert John Slaughter, Jr. and Carolyn Slaughter, siblings Patricia King and Lamar Sams.

Pam is survived by her childhood sweetheart of 42 years Michael Keith Swails and son, Michael Keith Swails, Jr.  Siblings, Freddie Slaughter (Jackie), Robert Slaughter III (Paula), Ortiz Sams, Herbert Simms, (Jamilla), Paula Jordan (Anthony), host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
