On December 29,2019,our Lord and Saviour came from the heavens and presented Joyce Beatrice with her heavenly wings.
Joyce Beatrice Cook was born in Eufaula, Alabama on September 11,1941. Joyce was the only child born to her late parents Ora Bell Chavez and Albert Richardson. Joyce is preceded in death by her beloved son Michael Richardson. At the age of 21 Joyce married Herbert Mack,Jr. and to this union three children were born, Joyce Bernadette Mack , Priscilla Ramona Mack, and Herbert Mack III. Joyce also had a son through this marriage, Charles Mack. In later years Joyce married Ronald Cook, who preceded her in death and to this union they had a daughter, Jessica Cook. Joyce was educated in the Alabama school system. Joyce accepted Christ as her personal savior and regularly attended the Cleveland Church of Christ. She always looked forward to attending Sunday morning service.
In Joyce's younger days, she loved modeling and fashion. Many would consider her a true DIVA! Joyce's love for fashion was endless and stayed with her throughout her life. Her most precious love was taking care of her grandchildren fixing fantastic meals and loving on her fur babies,Petey, Darla, Gigga, and Max. She also enjoyed dancing and singing to her favorite tunes. Joyce possessed an entertaining sense of humor! She was indeed a people person! Joyce was very assertive and had no problem telling the truth , even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear. She loved to spend time with her family and would often call on them to take her places. " While riding in the car", Joyce would often say " okay, where are we going next". Joyce was a graceful woman on fire! Everyone she met fell in love with her kindness and personality, which comforted so many.
Joyce is survived by her children; Joyce B. Davis ( Michael),Priscilla R. Mack ( Todd Daniel deceased), Herbert Mack lll , and Jessica Cook; seven grandchildren, three best friends, and a host of other family members and friends.
