Jesse "JD" Davis Jr.

Jesse Davis, Jr. was born on October 20,1939 in Docena , Alabama to the late Ida Mae Kelly and Jesse Davis,Sr. Jesse was the youngest of five siblings. during his late teens jesse moved from Alabama to Detroit , Michigan, later settling in Cleveland, Ohio. Jesse was married and to this union one daughter Kimberly Lynn Davis was born. Jesse drove beverage trucks for Seven UP Bottling Company and the American Winery. After retirement Jesse worked in several funeral homes throughout the greater Cleveland area. Jesse was a avid sports fan of the Cleveland Browns football team and the Cleveland Cavaliers . Jesse was a very competitive bowler and his favorite past time was playing Bid Wiz with his favorite playing partner, William "TeeTop" Shelton.

Preceding him in death were his brothers; Harvey Kelly, James Davis, Freddie B. Davis and one sister, ReJona Jones.

In passing he leaves to mour and cherish his memory; his loving and caring daughter , Kimberly( Charles), grandchildren; Tikima ( Kevin), Kamille ( Ron), and Kellee ( John).His great grand children; Jordyn , Kevoni , Hailey, Zoe and Tyson. His Detroit , California , Washington, D.C, Docena , Alabama families and his extended family ; the Sheton's .
