Jennifer Walker

Jennifer H. Walker  1972-2019

Jennifer Walker of South Euclid, passed away Dec. 3, 2019 at the too-young age of 47. She was born Jan. 31, 1972. Jennifer was a devoted daughter of Harry and Judy Walker, mother to Lorrick Decker, sister to Russell Walker and Kimberly Walker, and half-sister to Lauren Walker, and long-time partner of Matthew Wright.  Jennifer leaves behind a host of grieving family members, including grandmother Doris Jean Patton, aunts Kathy Patton, Gail Patton and uncle Paul Patton, as well as a large circle of friends who lives are now a bit dimmer now that she is gone.

Jennifer, who jokingly bragged that she got her education from the School of The Universe, and was open to anything and everything it could teach her, was never one to take the straight path through life and often enjoyed the scenic route. Although her interests varied, one of her biggest passions, second only to being a mother, was her writing. It was this passion for writing that led her to writing and publishing two remarkable books within the span of  a few years, with a third one in the works at the time of her death.  Yet despite all the things she liked to do, she always had time for her friends and would often put their needs before hers, because that’s the kind of person she was.

Jennifer’s death comes as the result of a long illness that she only recently learned would limit her time on Earth. And she did her best to make sure that those whe would be leaving behind were prepared for the inevitable.  But as much as she loved life and wanted to stick around for as long as possible for those who loved her, she  also wanted them to know that when she left this life, that she would be leaving it without any regrets because she  was able accomplished everything she wanted to accomplish.
