James Easterling

James Easterling was born on November 9, 1953 to the late James Emmett and Mary Magdaline Easterling.  He graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 1972 were he played basketball.  James began working several jobs before obtaining a position with the Ohio State Liquor Agencies, where he remained for 9 years.  When the state Liquor Agencies reorganized, he was employed by UFCW 880 (Rini Rego, known as Stop and Shop, and also Giant Eagle), where he remained for 19 years.  One never saw him without wearing a baseball cap.

In 1996 he met his life partner and loving wife, Annie.  They were wed on August 7, 2010.  James loved his family and friends he was very social, he loved entertaining.  He loved music especially Steely Dan, the Temptations, and Luther Vandross.

Preceding him in death were his parents; James and Mary (Pose); sister, Charlotte and brother, Arthur.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Annie; daughter, Andrea McCormick (Ian), Nicole Waddles, and son, James Clark; sister, Aleatha Ray (Keith); brothers, Dwayne and Kenneth Easterling; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
