Doris (Pounds) Aldridge

Doris Aldridge was born in Lawndale, North Carolina on February 4, 1936 to Mattie and Eli Pounds. She was a former case worker for the Veterans Administration for many years.Doris loved cooking, bowling and gardening. She was advocate for elderly people. Doris also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a beloved wife of the late Otto "OG" Aldridge, loving mother of Kenneth Aldridge, cherished grandmother of Andrew, Donovan and Mariah Aldridge and a cherished sister of Eli Pounds Jr. and Barbara Linder. Her memory will be cherished by all who loved her.
