Clara Gray

Clara Gray born March 13, 1941 in Moundville, AL, the youngest child of Elmer and Reomah Myles.  She left this earth on November 12, 2019 and was preceded in death by her husband William Frank Gray of 51 years of marriage.

She leaves behind her sister, Gladys McVay of Warrensville Heights, Ohio; her five adult children; Anita Gray (Cleveland, OH), Valerie Williams (Riverside, CA), Lorenzo Gray (Cleveland, OH), Quen Gray (Cleveland, OH), and Barbara Gray-Pressley (Pittsburg, CA); seventeen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.  She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews she cherished dearly.

Our beloved mother loved and served the Lord.  She spent many Sunday evenings listening to Rev. James Cleveland and the Mighty Clouds of Joy.  She rejoiced in "Walk Around Heaven All Day" or singing in the church choir.

The children of Clara Gray would like to acknowledge Destiny Gray-Brown (granddaughter) and Quen Gray (son).  Destiny and Quen, we thank you once again.  When mom needed you, you did what was needed to do.  Your courage, your strength and patience never wavered.  We know you guys were mom's little favorites.  Go at peace and know she is at rest, because the two of you did the absolute best!
