Andrew Bates

Andrew Bates was born in Orville, Alabama on May 20, 1926 to Leola and Arthur Bates Sr. He was a former sanitation worker at New York Frozen Food for many years. Andrew enjoyed watching Gun Smoke, Matlock, old Westerns and fishing. He was a beloved husband of Lizzie, loving father of Ira, Harold, Tyrone, Brenda, Christine and Leroy, a dear brother of Erma, Ted, Bertha, Amanda, Laura, Charles and Lemuel, a cherished grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. His memory will be cherished by all who loved him.
