Andre M. Johnson

Andre Milford Johnson son of the late John and Corine Johnson. Andre was born January 27th 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio. The generous soul of Andre was chosen by God to join him in eternal life on January 2nd 2019.

Andre affectionately known as Winky was the youngest of five brothers. Andre graduated from John F Kennedy High School. Andre had a love for all sports especially football, basketball and swimming.

Andre loved to sing and dance, when he was really young he was a little James Brown. If you really knew him, then you know he loved Sam Cooke. Andre would get out of bed listening to Sam Cooke, He would sit on the coach rocking back and forth to Sam Cooke and finally go to bed listening to Sam Cooke. Andre loved sitting with his family reminiscing about old times, as long as it was after 12 Noon.  You did not ask for anything of Wink before Noon, he was not a morning person.

If you really knew Andre you knew how compassionate, funny, smart and caring he was, but only after 12 Noon.  Andre lived his whole life in Cleveland Ohio.

Andre was preceded in Death by his Father John S Johnson, his Mother Corine P Johnson (Watson), his brothers Tyrone Johnson and Robert Douglas (Speedy).

Andre leaves one son Pierre Greene, one daughter Jasmine a Johnson, two brothers Terry Johnson (Jap) and wife Chantay from Norfolk, VA, Bernard Johnson (Beanie) and Wife Pam from VA Beach, Va.  A special friend Robin Gladden of Cleveland. Along with 7 Grand Children a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
