Gladys Redmon was born June 2, 1932 in Jackson Georgia, born to Rosia and Robert McKibben to this union there were four Siblings, Bernice Mckibben, Dorothy Parrish, Robert Mckibben, Isom James Roberts preceded her in death. Gladys was employed at St. Luke's Hospital as a nurse's aide for over twenty years she later retired to become a homemaker.
Gladys moved to Cleveland, Ohio in the early fifties where she met the love of her life Cleveland Redmon who she was married to for 61 years. She accepted Christ at early age. She and her husband join the American Revival Center in the early eighties after leaving there she joined The Bethesda Church of Cleveland under the leadership of her Nephew Bishop James Redmon Jr. after the passing of the Bishop she then joined Coventant Communty Church of Cleveland under the pastorialship of the late Pastor Lawrence W. Boone where she faithfully served until her health began to decline. She was the President of the Nurse's Guild, a member of the choir and also a member of a singing group known as the Season Saints. Gladys loved to sing, she had a beautiful voice.
Gladys Redmon who we all affectionately called" Granny" went to be with the Lord September 4, 2017. She leaves to cherish her memory her God daughter and caretaker Rhonda Borden. Loving God daughter Rutha Moore. Grandchildrens Devin Flores, Krista Womack who preceded her in death. Two Nieces, Charolette Mays (John) Cleveland Tenn. Pam Parrish Akron, Ohio. One Nephew Christopher Parrish Akron, Ohio. Sister In Laws Virgina Redmon , Aleine Redmond both of Cleveland, Ohio. Betty McKibben, Nashville Tenn. A Special Nephew Sylvester and Niece (Minnie) Redmon. Chattanooga Tenn.
Many God children a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
