Emma L. Williams was born October 2, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama to Carrie and Mack Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her parents. Emma attended Ullman High School in Birmingham Alabama. After high school Emma moved to Detroit, Michigan and later to Cleveland, Ohio where she met and married her husband James E. Williamson Jr., to this union no children were born. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James E. Williamson Jr. who she fondly regarded as her best friend.
Emma began a career as a chef at the Cleveland Justice Center in downtown Cleveland and remained employed there until the death of her husband James. Emma departed this life on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Emma will be remembered most for her fun-loving personality, and the way she loved to dance.
She leaves to mourn her passing (3) brothers Eugene Tarrance (Denise) of Birmingham Alabama; Ronald Tarrance (Nadia) of Birmingham Alabama; Frank Tarrance (Sara) of Lima, Ohio , a sister Mary Barnes of Birmingham Alabama, who preceded her in death, and a beloved God daughter, Angelia J. Webster, and dear God son Christopher Jordan of Bedford, Ohio as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
